We are seeking a passionate and driven Social Media Intern who is ready to be immersed in the energy of high-end events and use digital storytelling to elevate our brand across platforms.

Position Summary

The Social Media Intern will be responsible for capturing, editing, scheduling, and publishing compelling content that reflects the sophistication and magic of events at Jericho Terrace. This role is ideal for a dynamic, creative self-starter who thrives in fast-paced environments and is eager to gain hands-on experience in the luxury hospitality and wedding industry.

Key Responsibilities

·         Attend live events (primarily Friday–Sunday) to capture video/photo content for Reels, Stories, TikTok, and other platforms

·         Edit and produce short-form content with a consistent, polished visual style aligned with the Jericho Terrace brand

·         Maintain and execute a consistent content calendar across Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook

·         Write engaging captions and contribute to trending hashtag and audio strategies

·         Collaborate with the events and sales team to highlight venue features, decor, vendors, and guest experiences

·         Monitor engagement and performance analytics to refine content strategy

·         Ensure brand tone, imagery, and messaging are consistent with our luxury image

Required Qualifications

·         Recent college graduate or current student pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, Hospitality, or related field

·         Strong interest in the wedding and event industry; passion for hospitality

·         Proven track record of success on Instagram Reels and TikTok with personal or brand accounts (portfolio or social media handles required)

·         Proficiency in mobile video editing apps (CapCut, InShot, Adobe Rush, etc.)

·         Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and follow through consistently

·         Must be available on weekends (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) when the venue is busiest

·         Must be punctual, reliable, and highly self-motivated

·         Professional appearance and behavior appropriate for luxury event environments

Compensation
