SMT Inspector/AOI

Position: SMT AOI/Inspector

Location: Gardena, CA

Shift: 1st

Compensation: $24/hr

Join our fast-paced electronics manufacturing team and help ensure top-quality circuit board assemblies.

Responsibilities:

• Operate AOI machines to detect solder joint and component placement defects

• Perform hand soldering, touch-up, and rework on SMT and thru-hole assemblies

• Conduct visual inspections using microscopes per IPC-A-610 & J-STD-001 standards

• Review blueprints, BOMs, and assembly instructions to verify quality

• Follow supervisor instructions and documented procedures

• Willing to work flexible hours and overtime as needed

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED; 3–5 years of related experience preferred

• IPC-A-610 & J-STD-001 certification required

• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently

• Proficient in English and committed to quality and timelines
