Job Overview:

As a Slots Supervisor you will be responsible for excellent customer service, as part of your daily duties you will be required to pay out Jackpots and assist guests with any difficulties they may encounter during their gaming experience. 

Responsibilities and Duties: 

  • Pays out of Jackpots and cancelled credits.
  • Provides minor maintenance of slot machines including paper outs, bills, and ticket jams.
  • Exhibits outstanding customer service.
  • Assists and provides information to guests regarding game rules and casino rules.
  • Ensures duties are performed in accordance with AML Policies and procedures and Prize Disentitlement Policies.
  • Assists in the overall cleanliness of the Casino (IE pushing in chairs, picking up glasses and throwing away trash).
  • Ensures gaming terminal personnel perform their described duties.
  • Settles guest disputes based on technical recommendations.
  • Conducts inquiries into guest claims or complaints.
  • Processes TITO tickets over $5,000 and Jackpots over $10,000.
  • Completes discrepancy reports and AML reporting in accordance with AGLC terms and conditions.
  • Counts, verifies, and balances the vault.
  • Ensures proper implementation of established policies and procedures.
  • Builds team spirit through positive reinforcement and recognizing excellence in the workplace. Focus on resolving conflict and maintain confidentiality.
  • Works to improve processes and service.
  • Develops and mentors team members, provides support, expertise, and motivation to all slot positions.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

  • High School or Equivalency
  • AGLC Gaming Registration Number
  • Clear Criminal Record Check
  • AGLC Certifications:
  • AGLC Deal Us In Phase 1 and 2
  • Anti-money Laundering
  • Lotto Learn 

Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong leadership, organizational and customer service skills
  • Working knowledge and ability to use outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Strong leadership and communication skills and ability to maintain a good rapport between all departments and ownership.
  • Professional demeanor and ability to approach situations in a tactful manor.
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure and treat others with respect regardless of their status or position.
  • Accepts responsibility for own actions.
  • A passion for providing excellent customer service and full alignment with the organizations vision.

Job Requirements:

  • Ready and willing to work a flexible schedule, including graveyards, weekends, and holidays. The hours of work will be based on operational needs.
  • Knowledge of AGLC Terms & Conditions and Operating Guidelines.
  • Professional demeanor and ability to approach situations in a tactful manner.
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure and treat others with respect regardless of their status or position.
