Skilled Nursing Facility Director of Marketing & Admissions

Key Responsibilities:Marketing & Outreach:
  • Develop and implement a strategic marketing plan to increase awareness of the facility and grow census.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with hospitals, discharge planners, physicians, social workers, and community partners.

  • Conduct regular, in-person visits to referral sources—daily travel is required.

  • Plan and coordinate community outreach events, open houses, and after-hours events as needed.

  • Manage the facility’s online presence, including website content, reviews, and social media.

  • Analyze market trends and referral patterns to identify new business opportunities.

Admissions Coordination:
  • Manage all aspects of the admissions process, including referrals, tours, evaluations, and admission paperwork.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective residents, families, and referral sources.

  • Collaborate with clinical, financial, and administrative teams to ensure timely and appropriate admissions.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date census records and admission logs.

  • Provide education and guidance to families regarding the facility's services, insurance coverage, and Medicaid/Medicare options.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field (preferred).

  • 2+ years of experience in healthcare marketing, admissions, or business development—preferably in long-term care or senior living.

  • Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care processes.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Compassionate, patient, and family-focused approach to care.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software.

  • Reliable personal transportation and valid driver’s license required.

  • Must be able to travel daily and attend after-hours events.

  • Mileage reimbursement is provided through a GPS-based tracking app.
