Position Overview: The Site Manager is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of storage property buildings and grounds. This role may involve managing one or more properties and reports to the Field Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Property Maintenance:
o Ensure buildings and grounds meet company cleanliness and safety standards.
o Maintain secure and operational storage unit doors and building access points.
o Conduct regular property inspections to address any irregularities, maintenance needs, or safety hazards.
o Keep lighting and smoke detection systems functional by replacing bulbs, batteries, and fixtures as needed.
o Report defects and safety hazards to the Field Manager promptly.
o Maintain clean, graffiti-free surfaces and repaint as necessary.
o Perform minor plumbing repairs and manage landscaping not covered by contracts.
o Follow all safety protocols and complete tasks within quality, time, and budget requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to read, interpret, and compile maintenance reports and safety documents.
- Capable of working independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to lift and move at least 50 pounds.
- Valid driver’s license, insurance, and reliable transportation.
- Availability to work weekends.
