Introduction

We are seeking a skilled Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of various systems and equipment. This role requires a strong understanding of technical processes and the ability to work effectively in diverse environments. As an Installer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our installations meet high standards of quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Perform installations of fiber optic and Ethernet cabling systems in residential and commercial settings.
• Conduct fiber splicing and ensure proper connections for optimal performance.
• Utilize electrical tools such as voltmeters and ohmmeters to test and troubleshoot equipment.
• Provide field service support, addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues on-site.
• Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and service calls.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion while adhering to safety protocols.
• Demonstrate mechanical knowledge to assist with equipment setup and maintenance tasks.

Skills

• Proficient in fiber splicing techniques and practices.
• Strong electrical knowledge, particularly related to installation processes.
• Familiarity with Ethernet cabling standards and installation requirements.
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand complex systems.
• Experience in field service roles, demonstrating excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to operate testing equipment such as voltmeters and ohmmeters effectively.
• Knowledge of telephone systems installation is a plus.
