Summary:

Rumph & Associates, P.C. is seeking a Shuttle Service Supervisor (SSS) is responsible for overseeing and managing the Shuttle Services as it applies to providing transportation to the General Service Agreement customer. Responsibilities include but are not limited to training, safety, and the development of all shuttle service employees The SSS has a working knowledge and capabilities of performing the functions of all route drivers, managing all route schedules, and completing and delivering weekly and monthly reports for the customer. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be required or assigned.

1.     Drive shuttle vehicles on an as needed basis to/from one of 3 campus locations (CDC) Atlanta campus locations for routine scheduled routes.

2.     Drive shuttle vehicles off campus for refueling and servicing, using the credit card provided per vehicle which may apply to any vehicle within shuttle fleet.

3.     Perform administrative duties such as, gather and review a variety of narrative and/or statistical data to prepare reports, conduct analyses of data to support conclusions or recommendations for action.

4.     Ensure preventive maintenance and management of issues and maintenance problems with the shuttle fleet.  Prepare reports, conduct analyses of data to support conclusions or recommendations for action.

5.      Maintain records mileage, fuel used, repairs made, and other expenses related to shuttle fleet.

6.     Compose and type routine correspondence, both draft and final form, per instructions of the team lead or customer.

7.     Abide by all federal, state, local, and CDC traffic laws and regulations.

8.     Validate that radios are operational by testing battery and frequency.

o   Maintain contact with drivers and CDC Shuttle Service personnel.

o   Responding to radio calls within ten (10) minutes of call for shuttle service

 9.     Input specific data and log daily trips on provided intake form for all passengers.

10.  Perform and document a daily pre/post vehicle inspection on shuttle bus.

11.  Transport vehicles to outside vendor for preventive maintenance based on the company guidelines, manufacturer’s warranty requirements and technical vehicle guidance.

12.  Backup shuttle driver when needed.

13.  Provide training as needed to all employees, to include coaching, counseling, discipline, back-up coverage, etc.

14.  Validate that all processes are being followed and documented per the required specifications.

15.  Perform other duties as required or assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:     

Any combination of graduation from high school or equivalent and five+ years of fleet operations experience, including preventive maintenance in a supervisory capacity. Experience with process improvement and inventory control, advanced time management, and analytical skills. Effective at leading and managing change. Abilities to develop and maintain good client relations. Previous supervisory experience is highly desirable.  

Must possess a current Georgia driver’s license. CDL license is preferred. Shall have five (5) years or more of documented experience operating 12 passenger or larger vehicle. Driver shall not have any record of suspension, revocation, DUI/DWI on state issued driver’s license. No criminal record convictions. Criminal justice clearance is required.

Excellent oral and written communication and fluent in English. Speaks clearly and persuasively. Writes clearly and informatively. Listens and gets clarifications. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints. Ability to make effective and persuasive speeches, and presentations on controversial or complex topics to top management, and public groups.

COMPUTER SKILLS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should be computer literate with the ability to use computers and related technology efficiently (Microsoft Windows), to include but not limited to word processing software (Word), (Excel) spreadsheet software, electronic mail software (Outlook), presentation software (PowerPoint), and skills required to effectively complete the service requirements of the job.
