Shuttle Driver
RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide complimentary shuttle service upon request. Comprehend and abide by all traffic regulations while transporting customers. Maintain facility vehicles in working order. Check luggage in and out of luggage closet using proper procedures. Assist in answering telephones when needed. Assist guests with luggage by lifting luggage, packages, and boxes from cars, buses, vans, and carts, placing items on the ground, onto baggage carts or other vehicles.
QUALIFICATIONS: Excellent guest service and problem-solving skills essential. Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude during all interactions with the guest. Available to work a variety of day/night and weekend shifts. Valid Class C drivers license issued by the state along with the ability to provide evidence of insurability. Must have a good driving record.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Speak English fluently. (Spanish would be a plus)
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Use of basic math skills, variance, and percentages.
REASONING ABILITY: Interaction/Communication: Professionally deal with difficult situations/people, conflict resolution skills, dealing with varied individuals of different educational levels. Ability to adjust to a wide variety of needs and demands multiple priorities, constant change in priorities.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Light. Maximum lifting with frequent lift/carries up to 60 lbs. Good time-management skills are essential. This position is time-sensitive and may be stressful at times. Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: Must maintain a good working relationship with other departments, team members, clients, and guests. Interface with public daily or provide support services to those who interface with the public daily. Exposure to temperatures of 65-80 degrees Fahrenheit and the outside environment. Use of PC screens, copy machine toner and other office equipment.
