Show Office Secretary

Langley, BC Full-time $20.00/hour

Job Description: 

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Show Secretary to assist in the smooth operation of our tournaments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating event logistics, handling show entries and providing administrative support to ensure seamless event execution. This is a flexible full time position. 


Key Responsibilities: 

  • Organize show entries and results. 
  • Arrange equipment and paperwork for Judges and FEI Officials. 
  • Assist in checking in competitors for tournament weeks. 
  • Keep track of association memberships and ensure compliance. 
  • Collect payments during check-out.  
  • Resolve any issues related to entries. 
  • Assist Show Office Manager with any related tasks
  • Perform ad hoc duties and collaborate with other departments as needed. 


Requirements: 

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills. 
  • Attention to detail and ability to handle a fast-paced environment. 
  • Experience in equestrian events or similar administrative roles is preferred. 
  • Ability to work in between tournament weeks for set up and tear down duties as needed
  • Proficiency in managing paperwork and digital records. 
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills. 


Compensation:


Starting at $20 per hour, based on experience
