Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Shop/Yard tech to join our team at ETI. The successful candidate will assist our fluid power technicians and heavy equipment mechanics in performing maintenance and repair. They will also assist in the teardown of equipment at our outdoor yard.

Responsibilities:

Assist technicians and mechanics in performing maintenance and repair of cylinders, pumps, and heavy equipment.

Clean and maintain work areas and equipment, ensuring that all tools and machinery are in good working order and ready for use.

Move equipment and parts around the shop as needed, using forklifts, cranes, and other lifting equipment.

Perform basic tasks, such as changing oil, greasing components, and changing filters.

Clean the shop as needed including mopping, sweeping, trash, etc

Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Clean driving record

Willingness to learn and develop skills

Ability to follow instructions and work closely with technicians and mechanics.

Strong work ethic and commitment to quality.

Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Willingness to work overtime as needed.

Ability to operate forklifts

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift heavy equipment and components upwards of 50 pounds

Ability to work in noisy, dusty, and hot/cold environments.

Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods of time.
