Fort Garry Industries has an exciting opportunity for a Shipper/Receiver to join our team at our Edmonton location. 

What You Will Do: 

• Oversee the shipping and receiving of products
• Verify parts orders to ensure they are correct before shipment
• Verify shipments received against shipping documents
• Prepare shipping documents for outbound products
• Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors
• Stock and maintain inventory items in designated warehouse storage areas by restocking shelves and moving parts as necessary
• May secure cargo to vehicle (manual or forklift)
• Other duties as assigned

What We Require:

• High school diploma or other high school equivalence certificate
• Minimum of 1 year of general warehouse experience or shipper/receiver experience preferred
• Excellent customer service skills - dedicated to exceeding the expectations of customers
• Strong written and verbal skills - ability to write and speak succinctly with customers and colleagues
• Basic to proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn in-house systems
• Experience operating a forklift an assed
• Valid class 5/G license with 3 years of Canadian driving experience an asset
• Clean driving record containing no more than 3 incidents in 3 years or any major incidents (distracted driving, DUI, suspension. Maintained during employment) an asset
• Heavy duty parts knowledge or background an asset
