Shift Supervisor

Introduction:

We are seeking two motivated and reliable Shift Supervisors to lead our team of Waffles and Ice Cream Artisans and ensure smooth daily operations. This supervisory role involves overseeing the preparation and service of dessert delicacies, managing team performance, and maintaining a positive guest experience. The successful candidate will have strong leadership and customer service skills, be well-organized, and ensure that both staff and operations meet our high standards. The Shift Supervisor will act as the point of contact for team members and customers while ensuring that the work environment remains efficient, clean, and welcoming.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and support the team in setting up and maintaining the waffles, ice cream, and coffee areas, ensuring all toppings, utensils, and displays are prepared to company standards.
• Monitor the preparation and serving of waffle dishes, ice cream sundaes, coffee beverages, and other dessert items, ensuring quality and presentation meet expectations.
• Oversee cleanliness, stock levels, and organization across all service areas, ensuring a seamless operation throughout the shift.
• Lead by example in providing excellent customer service, answering guest inquiries, and handling orders with care.
• Address and resolve customer complaints and staff concerns in a professional and positive manner.
• Ensure team members adhere to safety, health, and sanitation guidelines.
• Manage shift schedules, delegate tasks, and provide training or support where needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the store.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a food service or customer service supervisory role is preferred.
• Strong leadership and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 10 pounds).
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Fluency in English is required; additional language skills are a plus.
