Shift Leader
Position Summary:
The Shift Lead is a key member of our quick service restaurant team, responsible for overseeing daily operations during assigned shifts. This role ensures smooth restaurant flow by leading team members, maintaining food quality and safety standards, and delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Open and Close the Restaurant: Responsible for executing proper opening and closing procedures, including cash handling, equipment checks, and end-of-day reporting.

Customer Service & Order Management: Take customer orders with accuracy and efficiency; ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.

Kitchen Operations: Assist in preparing, cooking, and assembling food orders according to recipes and quality standards.

Team Leadership: Supervise and support kitchen and front-line staff during shifts. Assist in training and mentoring new team members.

Food Quality & Safety: Ensure all food is prepared and served according to health and safety guidelines. Uphold cleanliness and sanitation protocols throughout the kitchen and service areas.

Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels, report shortages, and assist in ordering supplies as needed.

Labor & Cost Management: Help track labor and food costs, making real-time adjustments to support profitability goals.

Workplace Cleanliness: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Follow daily and weekly cleaning checklists.

Additional Duties: Perform other tasks as assigned by management to support operations.
Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a shift leader or in a leadership role

Strong leadership and communication skills

Ability to multitask and handle a high-volume workload

Proficiency with computer systems and software, such as Microsoft Office and point-of-sale systems

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
