Position Summary

The Service Technician is a very important role in the success of TNT Services Group.  This role provides a high level of hands on field support with the assigned Lead Tech.  In this role you will be assisting the Lead Service Technician in the completion of assigned work orders, which includes installing and servicing window and door components into new homes before the homeowner take possession.  TNT Services Group provides our clients with the best warranty period in the market, provides customer care during the construction phase and post settlement warranty period.  The Service Technician will provide a high level of support to the Lead Tech to assist in remediating any warranty related issues during the contracted and warranty period phase.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  •       Install window and door screens
  •         Adjust and check windows and door operation during screen out task
  •         Install window and door hardware per the contracted agreement, per local and state county codes
  •          Change out broken or defective glass, sash, door slabs and window/door components that require remediation
  •          Repair/investigate window and door leaks and technical issues
  •         Make sure team bins at field service shop stays organized
  •          Help meet a team goal completion rate of 9% or better weekly, monthly, and quarterly
  •          Assist with maintaining company vehicles, including normal maintenance, washing and keeping the inside clean and stock with parts
  •          Assist with warehouse duties

 

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

  •         Dependable and reliable
  •       Punctual and at work every day
  •         Basic computer skills
  •         Willing and able to pass a drug test
  •         Willing and able to pass a background check
  •          Willing and able to pass DMV driver release check; and maintain outstanding driver record
  •          Must be 18 years of age
  •         Able to work 8 hour shifts
  •          Able to work overtime as required
  •          Able to lift 50-100 pounds on a regular basis
  •          Experience using hand and power tools
  •         Able to work on elevated platforms and ladders
  •        Must have reliable transportation
  •          Able to bend, kneel and stand for long  periods of time
  •         Able to work outside in inclement weather
  •         Able to work in a safe manner and follow company guidelines

 

Qualification

  •      Attend trade school for carpentry or equal related construction field
  •        1 plus years in the construction field\
  •         Valid Driver's licenses
  •       High school diploma/GED
