Service Porter/Lot Technician

Responsibilities and Duties

• Clean and detail vehicles prior to delivery and for the showroom
• Maintain display lot, New and used Car lot
• Inspect the vehicle prior to delivery to help exceed customer expectations
• Assist in maintaining a clean Dealership when requested
• Clean Body Shop customer vehicles when asked
• Maintain clean rental vehicles for service
• Other duties as assigned

·         Greet Customers with a smile and assist them in getting to the right Advisor

·         Assist in moving customer cars to the appropriate space.

·         Keep service lane clear of water, snow, ice etc. 

·         Drives Customers to their homes or places of business and picks them up after their vehicle is repaired.

·         Use good judgement and safe driving skills.

·         Keeps a record of trips including names of passengers and destinations of pick-up point.

·         Notifies Service Manager of any service the shuttle vehicle may require.

·         Assist Technicians with spills when needed.

·         Clean loaner vehicle after every use and make sure to let service manager know when a vehicle needs service work.

·         Running errands as directed by the service manager and or advisor.

·         Other tasks as assigned.

• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check
• Valid driver’s license with dependable transportation and a clean driving record

• Understand that exceeding customer expectations is critical
• Professional Appearance and good verbal communication skills

· Must be 18 years of age or older
