Our client is a leader in water quality technology, corrosion control, pipe system restoration, problem analysis, and pipe maintenance, and is in search of a Service Crew Leader to report directly to the President/Operations Manager.
The Service Crew Leader will lead by example and must have the supervisory experience to effectively oversee the activities and performance of a team of 5-7 Route Service Technicians. Prior exposure to and understanding of commercial plumbing is required.
Requirements
- Associate Business Degree, Higher or combination of schooling and experience
- 3-5 Years Supervisory Experience
- Skilled trade (plumbing or pipe fitting) experience, preferred
- Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record

Summary of Duties
- Organize and communicate daily service routes…plan the best route for safety, economy, and efficiency
- Distribution of daily route service sheets
- Monitor meter readings, chemical levels and mileage from the route sheets
- Provide daily scheduling, supervision, training, and direction to all route service personnel
- Respond to all emergencies and customer service calls; dispatching calls and equipment as required
- Responsible for inspection and proper operation of all equipment
- Conduct regular inspections of all routes to build rapport with and ensure optimal customer service is being provided
- Responsible for needs of route service technicians: uniforms, tools, and equipment
- Maintain good morale, image, and pride in the service department
- Conduct quarterly performance review of staff. Recognize and reinforce good performance. Identify and discipline inferior job performance
- Provide a weekly report to include the condition of machines, customer feedback, and performance of route service personnel
- Other duties as required and/or assigned
