Server

New Hope Mills is located in Auburn, NY and home to well-known pancake mixes and our growing Store and Cafe currently seeks servers for our breakfast and lunch shifts.  (20 hours a week at minimum). Store and Cafe hours are 8:00 are-4: 30 pm (adjusted to market conditions) and we're open Monday-Saturday. The server will be responsible for delivering excellent service to our patrons. We're looking for friendly, motivated and outgoing people to fill this position.

Responsibilities:

• Provide service in a friendly and timely manner
• Be able to communicate detailed information about our food and drink menu
• Anticipate guests needs and address issues in a proactive/appropriate manner
• Follow opening/closing procedures

Required Skills:

• High School Diploma and/or Equivalent Vocational Training
• Ability to work under pressure, calmly and with a sense of urgency
• Greet guests promptly and courteously
• Demonstrate product knowledge
• Have the ability to make recommendations based on guest preferences and dietary requirements
• Ability to interact with guests in a friendly/fast manner
• Ensure guest satisfaction throughout service

Prior experience as a server is preferred, but we are willing to train!
