Senior Tax Associate

About our Firm:

We are small and we are local.  VBA CPAs staff members enjoy having the privilege of working in an environment where we are able to get to know one another and work closely together to ensure that our clients benefit from the expertise of the firm as a whole. We provide an alternative to the big firm environment.  Our atmosphere is fun, straightforward, and family friendly.  We intend to keep our operation simple and focused on the needs of our clients.

About the Position:

The ideal candidate will have experience preparing and reviewing a wide range of tax returns including, business returns, personal income tax returns, and nonprofit returns.  Skills in tax planning and tax research will also be required.  This person will be responsible for managing some client tax engagements and assisting with the supervision of busy season interns.

Qualifications:

• Current CPA license
• 4-7 years of recent public accounting experience
• Knowledge of CCH products is a plus, including Axcess Tax, Axcess Practice, and ProSystem fx Engagement
• Knowledge of Quickbooks is a plus
