Our mission is to deliver secure, high-impact solutions that protect and enable mission success. We are currently seeking a Senior Software Engineer II to support a classified program. This role focuses on designing, developing, and deploying mission-ready applications and data pipelines in secure AWS IL6+ environments. The ideal candidate will bring a strong software development foundation, DevSecOps expertise, and experience integrating AI/ML automation within secure government systems.

Key Responsibilities

· Design, develop, and deploy secure and scalable software solutions within AWS IL6+ classified environments.
· Collaborate with AI/ML teams to operationalize data pipelines and automate machine learning workflows.
· Provide architectural and technical support to ensure system designs meet identity, data, and security requirements.
· Contribute to DevSecOps practices and CI/CD pipelines to enable secure, continuous delivery of mission-critical software.
· Support leadership and program stakeholders by offering subject matter expertise in security architecture, automation, and data integration.
· Develop and maintain Python-native ML pipelines and associated deployment tools.
· Implement and automate testing, monitoring, and configuration management within cloud environments.
· Troubleshoot and optimize applications for performance, scalability, and reliability across distributed systems.

Required Qualifications

· Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph.
· 7+ years of experience in Information Technology, with a focus on software development, DevSecOps, and AWS cloud environments.
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
· 6+ years of full stack engineering experience, including database, backend, and frontend development.
· Proven success deploying production-grade enterprise applications in AWS IL6+ classified environments.
· Strong background in designing, developing, and automating solutions leveraging AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, and EKS.
· Experience supporting big data, AI/ML, or automation initiatives within federal or DoD environments.
· Proficiency in multiple programming languages such as Go, Python, Java, JavaScript, React, AngularJS, TypeScript, or NextJS.

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience implementing security architecture and identity management solutions for government systems.
· Familiarity with cloud governance, RMF compliance, and STIG application in classified environments.
· AWS or DevOps certifications such as AWS Certified Developer, Solutions Architect, or DevOps Engineer.
· Demonstrated ability to work across cross-functional teams including AI/ML, infrastructure, and security.
