Senior Sales Consultant

Full Time Hours:  5 Days per week, 37-40 Hours.  Earliest Shift: 8am     Latest Shift: 6pm   

Must be available to work weekdays, weekends, and some holidays.

To sell Hotel guestrooms and Food and Beverage services to group clientele.  Obtains sale and transfers information to an Event Coordinator for follow up. Track future and past marketing trends as directed.  Assists in creating sales goals for other Sales Consultants and Sales Representatives and monitors progress with Director of  Sales. 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma or equivalent.  Two years of continued education or equivalent.

Minimum 2 years sales experience.  (Hospitality/Tourism Industry preferred)

Excellent communication skills (speaks in a professional manner). 

Has the ability to make presentations to groups.

Uses professional selling techniques (asks for the sale).

Minimum of 2 years experience in making outside sales calls.

Proficient in computer programs necessary in an office environment.

Continues to further education by seminars, tapes, classes, etc.

Has a professional appearance: Uniform clean and in best possible condition. Professional hair style and make up. Shirts pressed and white.  Shoes polished.
