Senior Business Analyst II

We are currently seeking a Senior Business Analyst II to support a classified program focused on agile software development, integration, and user experience optimization. This role will serve as a key liaison between technical teams and stakeholders, ensuring that business needs are clearly defined, accurately translated into technical requirements, and successfully implemented within secure federal environments.
Key Responsibilities
· Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and direct process observation.
· Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications, user stories, and system requirements.
· Create and maintain comprehensive documentation including process flows, use cases, and requirements traceability matrices.
· Conduct gap analyses to identify differences between current operations and desired outcomes.
· Develop and refine process maps, workflows, and standard operating procedures to enhance efficiency and alignment.
· Collaborate with project managers, developers, and product owners to ensure clarity, accuracy, and successful implementation of requirements.
· Analyze system functionality and performance to verify alignment with business objectives.
· Participate in testing, validation, and acceptance activities to confirm solutions meet stakeholder expectations.
· Perform data analysis and create reports, dashboards, and visualizations that support decision-making and performance tracking.
Required Qualifications
· Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph.
· 7+ years of professional experience in business analysis, systems analysis, or related IT roles.
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
· Proven ability to elicit, document, and manage business and technical requirements in agile environments.
· Demonstrated success translating business objectives into actionable technical solutions.
· Strong analytical skills with experience performing gap analyses and developing process improvements.
· Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage technical and non-technical audiences.
· Proficiency with data analysis and visualization tools such as Excel, Power BI, or Tableau.
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience supporting federal or intelligence programs in agile or DevSecOps environments.
· Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, or ServiceNow for agile requirements tracking and documentation.
· Knowledge of systems engineering principles and RMF-aligned project lifecycles.
· Relevant certifications such as PMI-PBA, CBAP, or Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP).
