We’re currently looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our Land Survey Department and help lead our dynamic team.
About the Role
Are you a licensed land surveyor with a passion for leading teams, managing complex projects, and delivering exceptional service? R&R Engineers and Surveyors is looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our Land Survey Department and help us build the future of surveying—one project at a time.
As a Senior Project Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind your team’s success. You’ll manage survey projects from kickoff to closeout, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and exceptional client service.
What You Will Do:
· Lead and mentor survey teams through fieldwork, data processing, and legal documentation.
· Develop project plans, budgets, and schedules in collaboration with clients and internal stakeholders.
· Coordinate project activities, resolving challenges, and keeping deliverables on track.
· Navigate regulatory requirements and local jurisdiction approvals with confidence.
· Build and maintain strong client relationships that lead to long-term partnerships.
· Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Supervisory Duties
· None
Qualifications
· Colorado PLS (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
· 5+ years of land surveying experience, including strong project management skills
· Valid Colorado driver’s license and clean driving record
Knowledge and Skills
· Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Trimble Business Center (TBC)
· Deep understanding of ALTA/NSPS surveys, boundary surveys, legal descriptions, and surveying best practices
· Detail-oriented, results-driven mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
· Proven track record of managing complex projects with measurable success.
· Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
· Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
Physical Requirements
- Frequently required to sit, talk, hear, stand, walk, bend, stoop, squat, and use hands to fingers, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms.
- Must be able to lift and move 50 pounds at a time.
The Position:
The Senior Project Manager position is a full-time, salaried exempt position working onsite with flexible and hybrid schedule work options.
The salary range for this role is: $110,000 - $150,000/annually
