Senior Project Engineer

We are looking for a Project Engineer to join our Kansas City, Missouri team.
Responsibilities may include:
- Collaborate with the team to complete assigned projects on time, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Facilitate and contribute to the development of project plans and designs.
- Conduct cost analysis, estimate expected costs, and prepare and implement project budgets.
- Perform risk assessments, report identified risks to management, and provide recommendations for risk mitigation.
- Compare actual project costs to estimates and adjust plans accordingly.
- Address questions, concerns, and complaints throughout the project, serving as a point of contact for stakeholders.
- Act as a liaison between the company, customers, and vendors.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, industry, contractual, and company regulations, standards, specifications, and best practices.
- Proactively manage project changes and adjust plans if problems arise.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Active PE license
- Experience in project management, engineering, systems design, or related field.
- Experience in management, leading multidisciplinary design teams.
- Experience with managing municipal, commercial, and subdivision projects.
- Proven success in leading teams and managing projects.
