Senior .NET Developer
We are seeking a skilled and experienced .NET Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate should be passionate about creating high-quality software solutions and possess a strong foundation in .NET development technologies. As a .NET Developer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain software applications that meet our clients' needs. Responsibilities
70% Execution and Delivery - Designs, develops, tests, and deploys code that meets Orange Bees' security & quality standards and customer expectations. Has the initiative to take on new, sometimes challenging work with a sense of urgency. Is customer-focused and understands the business value of the software being developed.
20% Growing - Enthusiastically seeks ways to grow in the field of software development and delivery by staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices.
10% Supporting and enabling - Supports existing software with feature enhancements and bug fixes. Participates in timely, thorough PR reviews ensuring project success while adhering to organization standards.
Requirements and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and object-oriented programming.
- 5+ years of professional experience as a .NET developer using C#.
- Expertise in building RESTful APIs and integrating external services.
- Expertise with database technologies such as SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, architects, and UI/UX designers, to gather and understand software requirements.
- Optimize application performance, troubleshoot issues, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented mindset.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with the capability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- A track record of delivering projects on time and meeting deadlines.
- Previous experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
