Key Performance Area
Specific Measurements
Pro-Foss IN-NIR
- Assure the instrument is functioning and clean when pulling composite samples.
- Assure that the air/water separator for the compressed air line that cleans the lens is working properly.
- Alert Lab Management immediately when instrumentation related to Pro-Foss is faulting
Fish Processing
- Press cake, stick water, concentrated solubles, and decanter solids are sampled hourly and additionally as needed.
- These samples are composited, and the composite is analyzed on a shift basis.
- Data is reported to Lab Manager and put into the Daily Lab Report
Finished Fish Oil product
- Sampling of Fish oil as it is going to storage every 3hrs from the auto sampler.
- Samples will be pulled from an auto sampler that collects samples of the oil throughout the shift.
- Alert Lab Management if faulting of auto sampler is seen.
- These samples are composited, and the composite is analyzed on a shift basis via Wet Chemistry methods.
- Data is reported to Lab Manager and put into the Daily Lab Report
Finished Fish Meal product
- Sampling of Fish meal as it is going to storage every 3hrs from the auto sampler and additionally as needed.
- Samples will be pulled from an auto sampler that collects samples of meal throughout the shift.
