Position Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst to lead efforts in identifying, analyzing, and mitigating cyber threats. The ideal candidate will leverage advanced knowledge of cyber threat actors, tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) to collect, assess, and disseminate actionable intelligence. This role requires experience with open-source intelligence (OSINT), commercial threat feeds, and cybersecurity tools to strengthen the organization's security posture.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct in-depth analysis of cyber threats, including malware, phishing campaigns, and attack vectors, to identify patterns and indicators of compromise (IOCs).

Aggregate and evaluate intelligence from various sources, such as OSINT, dark web forums, and commercial threat intelligence feeds.

Develop and present high-quality written and oral reports, briefings, and threat assessments to key stakeholders.

Utilize cybersecurity tools such as SIEMs, threat intelligence platforms (TIPs), and malware analysis tools for proactive defense strategies.

Collaborate with internal security teams and external partners to enhance threat detection and mitigation capabilities.

Contribute to the development of cybersecurity policies and strategies based on intelligence findings.

Provide mentorship and training to junior analysts to build a skilled cyber threat intelligence team.
Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s preferred).

10+ years of experience in cyber threat intelligence analysis.

Expertise in identifying threat actor TTPs and developing proactive defense measures.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and OneNote.

Security+ certification required; Network+ or equivalent preferred.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Additional Qualifications:

Experience with SIEM platforms, threat intelligence feeds, and malware analysis tools.

Familiarity with government cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST, MITRE ATT&CK, and FISMA.

Strong communication and presentation skills, with experience briefing executive leadership.

Certifications such as CISSP, GCTI, or CEH are a plus.

This position is onsite at the Thurgood Marshall Federal Judiciary Building in Washington, D.C. Telework may be considered on a case-by-case basis with approval from the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) and appropriate Government Task Leads (GTLs).
