Senior Counterintelligence (CI) Support Specialist (CISS) - Iraq
Minimum required qualifications
• Education – Government CI credentialing course such as CI Special Agent Course (CISAC) OR other accredited DOD CI credentialing course
PLUS
• Experience – at least eight years of experience with former MOS 18F, 35L, 35M, 351L/M, 97B, 97E, 35E OR civilian 1811/0132 formerly badged and credentialed CI Agent OR 18F = SF INTEL NCO or 180A SF WO with ASOT-III OR USAF – 71S4 or 7S0X1 Special Investigator (SI) OR USMC – 0204 Counterintelligence/Human Intelligence (CI/HUMINT) Officer, 0210 CI/HUMINT Operations Officer, 0211 CI/HUMINT Specialist OR other equivalent DoD Joint Service or other Service specialty codes

• Clearance – TS/SCI
PLUS
• Special skills or qualifications (all required)–
- Knowledge of Army/Joint CI procedures, doctrine, and practices
- Knowledge of basic CI analysis, datamining, and DoD common intelligence systems
- Experience in working with and through interpreters
- Experience with interview and solicitation techniques
- Experience with CI principles and methods
- Experience in developing screening /interviewing/debriefing plans
- Briefing skills to include the ability to clearly articulate complex information
- Proficient in briefing senior leadership at the O6 level
- Experience with the evaluation of information requiring further investigation
- Working knowledge of and /or Experience in supporting CENTCOM AOR
- Experience supporting CI operations or acting in the capacity of / performing the mission of a CI agent
- Able to carry a 60-lb pack in the field
In addition to the above, the following are Highly Desired qualifications and/or experience that are NOT required:
• Education – Bachelor’s Degree
• Experience in either CI/HUMINT, CT and political/military analysis in CENTCOM or other AORs
