Senior Accountant
Essential Functions:
Responsibilities:
Key functions of this position are the development, analysis, and interpretation of statistical and accounting information in order to appraise operating results.
1. Maintain Fixed Assets for the organization.
2. Ensure that all bank accounts are reconciled to the General Ledger.
3. Conducts regular Inventory/Fixed Assets Audits.
4. Ensure proper posting of Accounts Receivable transactions.
5. Ensure customers and vendors are properly entered into Accounting software.
6. Assist with the preparation with the yearly audit.
7. Responsible for reporting Unclaimed property to Louisiana on expired payroll checks.
8. Handle special project as requested by management.
9. Conduct analysis of accounts as requested by management.

Requirements:
1. BS in Accounting required.
2. General knowledge of accounting software; SAGE 100 preferred
3. Working Knowledge of GAAP.
4. Intermediate excel knowledge required.
5. Must have three or more years working in the accounting field (audit preferred).
6. Must be able to clear DMV check, possess valid driver’s license and maintain current vehicle registration, liability insurance and vehicle inspection.

Must have the ability to tolerate frequent periods of high stress, heavy workload and multiple priorities.
