Overview:

Struction Solutions is seeking organized and detail-oriented Secretary Specialists to provide administrative and clerical support for projects across Louisiana. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, proficiency in office software, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide general administrative and clerical support to management and field teams.
  • Prepare correspondence, reports, and other documents accurately and on time.
  • Maintain electronic and paper filing systems to ensure easy retrieval of project records.
  • Answer phone calls, route messages, and handle inquiries from clients and internal staff.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
  • Assist with document tracking, data entry, and project documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures and confidentiality standards.
  • Support procurement, payroll, and contract-related administrative tasks as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support project operations.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or higher preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of administrative or secretarial experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
  • Must be dependable and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to travel and provide support in various parishes statewide.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience working in construction, engineering, or government project environments.
  • Familiarity with project management documentation or public works recordkeeping.
  • Knowledge of state or local administrative processes.
