The Pine Lodge is seeking a seasonal full time Laundry Attendant to join our Housekeeping Team.
PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES: The Laundry Attendant is responsible for ensuring all hotel linens are cleaned to departmental standards following departmental procedures. Cleaning included, but is not limited to, bed linens, towels and robes. Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service.
MAIN DUTIES AND REPONSIBILITIES
- Cleans and folds linens. Loads and unloads industrial washers and dryers.
- Performs cleaning duties for laundry equipment and area.
- Reports necessary maintenance issues to Front Office so work order is made.
- Follows departmental policies and procedures.
- Follows all safety and sanitation policies
- Assists other departments when needed to ensure optimum service to guests.
SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Operating laundry equipment including industrial washers, dryers and press.
- Ability and willingness to adhere to all Averill Hospitality policies and ensure departmental personnel compliance.
- Must maintain a positive influence in the community and positive relations with are vendors.

- Must be able to stand for 4-8 hours, lift up to 50 lbs. Doing repetitive work folding linens and loading and unloading industrial size washers and dryers.
