Seasonal Chef / Baker / Deli Prep

The Gourmet Gang is a local Gourmet Bistro & Full Service Event Catering Company that has been in business for more than 20 years.

We are currently seeking a Working Baker / chef that is passionate and in need of extra income.

This Position is Seasonal for the holidays. We are looking to hire someone with experience to get us through the holiday season.

"Bakery / Chef " Job Description:

-Initiates food service preparations and catering for special events.

-Ensures that the kitchen conforms to local health department codes.

-Assists in the development, planning, and implementation of kitchen / catering operations.

-Standardize bakery production recipes to ensure consistent quality.

-Oversee special catering events and may also offer culinary instruction and/or demonstrates culinary techniques.

Requirements:

-Respects co-workers and their unique contributions to our team.

-Perfectionist when it comes to details associated with the event planning and execution.

-Experience in mass production.

-Prefer someone with 2+ years with baking / cooking experience

-Ability to stand 90% of the time.

.-Ability to maintain a positive can do attitude.

-Professionalism in appearance as well as demeanor.

-Kind in nature.

-Friendly personality.
