Job Title: Commercial Sales Representative

Scherzinger Pest Control is seeking an experienced, energetic, goal-oriented sales professional to join our growing company team.  This position requires the selling of pest control solutions to a wide variety of businesses that include: Food Service, Hospitals, Nursing facilities, Schools, Municipal, State, and governmental facilities, Property managers, and many more.

Responsibilities:

The Solutions role will require phone prospecting and field assessments along with relationship building with internal departments.   

• Prospect business to business sales in a designated sales territory.
• Build a robust pipeline of opportunities by networking and participating in company, community, networking events and other local outlets.
• Interact and ask questions of customers to determine customer concerns and existing conditions.
• Learning sales techniques and product knowledge in order to provide a solution to prospective clients.
• Solutions sold list should consist 50% of new customers each month in addition to upgrading current customers.
• Develop a daily schedule of productive activity from creative sources and qualified leads.
• Properly identify pests, pest activity, pest harborage areas, and conducive conditions.
• Perform thorough in-person inspection and evaluation of customer properties including interior, exterior, attics, and crawlspaces. 
• Recording accurate measurements and writing correct descriptions of properties.
• Execute agreements on behalf of the company, observing company policy pertaining to credit terms of sale.
• Maintain equipment, vehicle, and personal safety equipment in clean, working order.
• Must maintain open and professional lines of communication with all members of staff their customer base.

Qualifications/Skills:

• Individual must possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Proven sales experience.
• Customer focused attitude.
• Has the ability to work independently, organize, plan and prioritize time and projects.
• Possess excellent communications skills.
• Is experienced in developing and maintaining long-term relationship with clients.
• Resides within the service area or be willing to relocate to the area.
• Must always have a valid motor vehicle driver’s license.

Physical Requirements:

• Exposure to seasonal temperatures and weather conditions
• Must be able to work in natural and artificial lighting.
• Must have the capability to wear the proper PPE, when necessary.
