Our latest venture is ROAR, our live-fire restaurant in Tofino, BC. We are searching for a Sales Manager to join our flock of totally unique and fun-loving individuals to drive our business forward in the long term.
This role reports to Diane Portelance, our Regional Director of Sales, and will help our amazing Wolf Pack (Sales Team) continue providing exceptional service to our groups across multiple segments.

Salary: $75,000-85,000
What the Role is Quacked Up to Be
The Sales Manager will support the Wolf Pack while prospecting new business to ensure we maximize revenue across the chain and capture all value leads. This is a remote role in BC, so you will have the flexibility of working from home, the Wolf Den, or really wherever you want!
In your first 3 months, you will…
Meet with all the members of the Wolf Pack to learn their areas of business and start building relationships across the team
Meet with key stakeholders in Marketing and Operations to learn how Sales collaborates and works closely with these departments
Dive deep into our purpose, core values, and brand standards
Go through our services, amenities, room types, packages, and loyalty programs across our three brands with Diane
Shadow other members of the Wolf Pack, our Happiness Experts, and Guest Service Agents
Get comfortable with Infor for all sales activity tracking and reporting
Start working on your own portfolio of business, reviewing sales calls, and working with Diane on best practices for our brands
In your first 12 months, you will…
Have analyzed all competitors’ offerings, prices, and sales strategies and become an expert in your segment
Manage and execute on multiple RFPs
Have hit or exceeded your sales targets for the year
Develop and experiment with new revenue streams and partnership opportunities
Have built new and strengthened existing relationships with your clients
Managed your own Business Development to bring in new clients from your segments
Be an expert in how Accent Inns and Hotel Zed differentiate from the competition
Have a running lost deal analysis report for all lost opportunities to ensure we are constantly improving as a team
Have toured our properties to fully sell any one hotel and know what makes it unique
This exciting role will be the fuel that drives the purpose of Accent Inns, Hotel Zed, and ROAR. As a member of the Wolf Pack you will be on the front line, driving revenue, collaborating with Operations to create exceptional guest experiences, and building brand loyalty with your groups.
What to expect from us?
Application: We will do our best to review and respond to all applications.
First Interview (45min): You will meet with Laura Miles, our HRBP, to discuss our culture, values, and your previous experience.
Second Interview (60min): You will meet with Diane Portelance, our Regional Director of Sales, and Lindsay Rainbird, one of our Sales Managers, to dig into your technical skills, previous sales wins and losses, discuss our current structure, targets, and sales programs.
Final Interview (60min): You will meet with Trina Notman, our VP of Marketing and Communications, for a final discussion around the overall company goals, how sales and marketing work together, and give you a final opportunity to ask any questions that have not been answered.
