The right candidate must be a self-starter, have knowledge of the hotel industry with strong negotiation skills to achieve sales goals, maximize room revenue, and acquire new accounts.

As a Director of Sales / Sales Manager, your regular tasks will include, but are not limited to:

  • Soliciting and securing new potential corporate and group accounts
  • Building new relationships in the community
  • Responding to sales leads, negotiating and generating contracts
  • Servicing accounts and analyzing lost business for the hotel

Requirements:

  • 2+ years Hotel Sales Experience
  • General knowledge of industry market reports such as STR, TravelClick
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships and accounts; solicit and secure new corporate and group accounts
  • Develop a Sales Plan and strategy to exceed established revenue and room night goals
  • Excellent organization skills; ability to multi-task
  • Ability to create, develop & execute sales/marketing plans
  • Familiarity with Franklin/Cool Springs area & local community a plus
