SALES ASSOCIATE
Hours: 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
Reports to: Sales Manager thru Sales Supervisor

FUNCTIONS:
Greet customers in a prompt and friendly manner
Assist customers with the purchasing process
Assist with the rigging and delivery process to ensure customer satisfaction
Log and maintain accurate records of customer interaction
Prepare accurate paperwork of sales transaction
Assist with the display of product and brochures
QUALIFICATIONS:
Good health, physically mobile
Pleasant personality
Good personal hygiene
General knowledge of marine products
Able to perform related paperwork
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain high level of appearance (grooming)
Promptly meet and greet all sales customers in a friendly manner
Conduct all business in honesty and sincerity for all customers
Listen to customer needs and assist them in locating the proper boat
Handle minor complaints with courtesy and tact
Answer incoming calls and attempt to satisfy the callers inquiry
Give customer accurate quotes
Collect and enter customer information into lead management system
Make records of all customer interaction and enter them into system
Follow up with customers as per sales process
Follow lead management procedures per dealership’s adopted process
Properly and legibly write sales agreement for customer (per management guidelines)
Follow sales processes in place
Carefully inspect all finished sales agreements
Maintain communication with Parts/Accessories and Service Department
Communicate any problems to Management
Advise Sales Manager of any changes in schedule
Contact customer when boat is ready
Communicate delivery date and time to appropriate departments
Look over inventory and make sure that product is properly displayed and presentable
Maintain adequate stock of marketing materials (brochures) and make sure that they are properly labeled and displayed
Look after price tags to make sure they are accurate and assist in preparation and display of tags as needed
