Are you a results-driven sales professional with a strong background in senior living sales? Tomball Retirement Center is seeking a Sales and Marketing Director to drive occupancy and lead community outreach for our Assisted Living and Independent Living community. This role is not a desk job, it’s designed for a proactive leader who thrives in the field, building relationships, and creating opportunities to grow census.

Position Summary

The Sales and Marketing Director will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive marketing and sales plan in Tomball and the surrounding areas. This includes identifying referral sources, creating external partnerships, and implementing proven strategies to increase occupancy. While there will be some inside sales and administrative work, the majority of this role requires being out in the community, driving increased occupancy and managing relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive Occupancy: Create and implement a proactive marketing plan focused on growing census through field outreach and referral source development.

  • Referral Development: Build and maintain strong relationships with hospitals, physicians, senior centers, churches, and other community partners.

  • Community Engagement: Represent the community at local events, networking opportunities, and professional organizations.

  • Sales Leadership: Guide tours, manage inquiries, and support prospective residents and families through the decision-making process.

  • Performance Tracking: Monitor leads, conversions, and KPIs to measure success and adjust strategies accordingly.

  • Brand Visibility: Oversee marketing initiatives that highlight our services, reputation, and culture of care.

Ideal Candidate Will Have
  • 3+ years of proven outside sales experience in Assisted Living, Independent Living, or Senior Living.

  • Demonstrated success in driving census growth and managing referral relationships.

  • Knowledge of how and where to strategically grow census in Tomball and surrounding areas.

  • Ability to create and implement marketing plans tailored to the local market.

  • Strong interpersonal, presentation, and networking skills.

  • A self-starter who is proactive, persistent, and thrives outside the office environment.
