Christwood, a premier Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) in Covington, Louisiana, is seeking an experienced and motivated Sales and Marketing Counselor to help individuals and families navigate the transition to independent living.

The Sales and Marketing Counselor is responsible for representing the community during the sales process for prospective residents. This begins with the prospective resident’s first inquiry to Christwood at which time the residency counselor provides such service that all information pertaining to the regulations, procedures and policies related to residing at Christwood are appropriately explained and coordinated with administration.

Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain relationships with prospective residents and their families, guiding them through the decision-making process.
Conduct tours, presentations, and follow-ups to showcase the benefits of independent living at Christwood.
Manage leads effectively and develop customized outreach strategies.
Collaborate with the marketing team to implement sales campaigns and community events.
Meet and exceed occupancy goals while providing an exceptional experience for potential residents.
Qualifications
At least five years of experience with a proven record in comparable sales is preferred; education or experience in sales, public relations or sales psychology is desirable.
A passion for serving older adults and promoting a thriving community environment.
Skills
Must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills and have the ability to communicate effectively with both large and small groups.
Strong interpersonal skills are essential.
Ability to empathize with seniors and their families while guiding them through a life-changing decision.
Must have the ability to work independently with self-discipline and self-motivation.
Skill in use of computer software including but not limited to CRM software, Word & Outlook.
