Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Marketing and Sales Assistant to support our sales and marketing initiatives. This role involves managing social media accounts, supporting the creation of marketing materials, tracking sales performance, and assisting with client outreach efforts. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Social Media Management: Manage social media postings across all accounts to engage and update our audience regularly.
  • Marketing Support: Assist in the creation and distribution of marketing materials, including brochures, newsletters, and social media content.
  • Sales Reporting: Prepare reports on sales performance, marketing metrics, and campaign results.
  • Client Presentations: Prepare new presentations and proposals for potential clients.
  • Networking & Client Relations: Participate in networking events to connect with current and new clients in the industry.
  • Customer Service: Respond to customer inquiries, providing excellent service and product information.
  • Market Research: Conduct surveys and track results to provide executive leadership with insights on client and employee needs.
  • Cold Calling & Brand Awareness: Assist with brand development through cold calling to raise awareness about MFort Security Services.
  • Sales Meetings: Participate in sales meetings and presentations.
  • Lead Generation & Follow-ups: Track lead generation and follow up with potential clients for brand visibility.
  • Inventory & Gift Management: Handle the inventory of marketing items and manage annual holiday gift ordering for customers.
  • Compliance Management: Maintain the COI vendor systems to ensure compliance with all COI requirements.
  • Account Setup & Transitions: Assist with transitions and setting up new accounts.
  • Contract Renewals & Budgeting: Collaborate with accounting, payroll, and executives on contract renewals and budget planning.
  • Event Coordination: Help organize and coordinate promotional events, trade shows, and customer outreach programs.
  • Administrative Support: Perform other administrative tasks related to sales and marketing efforts.
  • Executive Collaboration: Work directly with the President/CEO on sales and marketing goals for the company.

Requirements

  • High school Diploma or Equivalent required
  • This is an entry-level position; 1-3 years of prior experience in marketing, sales, or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience with social media management and digital marketing is a plus.
  • Comfortable with cold calling and networking.
  • Self-motivated and able to work both independently and in a team environment.
