Route Service Technician

Our Client is a leader in Water Quality Technology, Corrosion Control, Pipe System Restoration, problem analysis and pipe maintenance. and is in search of a Route Service Technician. 

Brief Description

This position consists of performing preventive maintenance on Corrosion Control Units by conducting service calls during monthly & quarterly route visits.   

Tasks

• Deliver treatment solution to Corrosion Control Unit (CCU) locations 
• Inspect the equipment, amount of solution and any other material that affects the operations of the installed process.  (Preventive maintenance)
• Fill the equipment with specific treatment solution (if necessary)
• Take notice of any changes to equipment.  Make necessary repairs to the CCU during each location visit.
• Perform water chemistry test as required (Kits are provided).
• All testing and repairs are recorded and turned in on a daily basis.
• Keep equipment and immediate area clear and orderly. 
• Establish a working relationship with Building/Facility managers to discuss conditions of plumbing systems, problems, etc…and to provide pro-active service and response.
• Record any immediate on-site repairs performed 
• Immediately communicate to Route Service Leader any changes or problems that are occurring in building and/or with customer changes.
• This position may require working overtime as assigned and other distributed duties within capabilities and skills of the individual.

Travel for work out of town is required as part of this position.  Travel for Route Service Technician is usually 4 – 7 days at a time and limited to once or twice annually.  All expenses are paid by the company.

Duties of a Route Service Technician are not limited to those detailed above and are subject to change according to the need of the employer.  The employee should be able to adapt accordingly.

Requirements

·       High School Diploma

·       Mechanically Skilled

·       Excellent Driving Record

·       Exceptional Customer Service Skills

·       Ability To Lift 60-65 Lbs.

·       Must be able to pass a drug screen  

*Route Service and commercial plumbing background experience is an advantage.

This position’s starting pay is $15 per hour.
