JOB SUMMARY:
Our housekeeping staff is primarily responsible for hotel rooms and their cleanliness at the hotel. Related tasks include, but are not limited to: Overall room quality and cleaning, guest satisfaction, and to help communicate hotel needs and concerns with other departments.
Position Summary:
- Maintain clean and appealing guest rooms and common areas according to quality standards of the property.
- Provide outstanding guest service by greeting and interacting with guests throughout your day
- Have fun in a positive atmosphere with friendly co-workers!
- Essential Functions:
- Cleaning up to 18 guest rooms per shift to Marriott standards, with a strong attention to detail
- Ability to load & operate a washer and dryer, as well as fold laundry
- Maintaining a positive attitude, and respectfulness of others
- Follow safety regulations regarding handling of chemicals, clean up of body fluids, and potentially hazardous materials
- Clean and maintain guest rooms, including bed and bathrooms, in accordance with property and brand specifications in a timely manner
- Maintain clean and safe work areas (hallways, laundry room, chemical rooms) * Assist co-workers when your help is needed
- Provide information to guests about hotel services, facilities and other amenities in a positive and helpful manner
- Listen and respond positively and professionally to guests' requests or complaints; interact with guests in a friendly and cheerful manner as directed by leadership
- Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to walk a total of 8 hours in a day.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Must be able to carry 20-35 lbs. up to a distance of 200 ft.
- Job Specifications :High School Diploma or equivalent. Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the primary language of the workplace. Valid Louisiana Driver’s License and an acceptable driving record.

- Clean, well groomed, and neat appearance.
- Common sense and good judgement.
