Robot Welder Programmer and Operator

SUMMARY

A Robot Welder Programmer and Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining robotic welding machines. This role includes setting up equipment, programming the robot, performing welding tasks, and ensuring quality control of the welded products.

Full time Position

Starting Pay is $22-28 an hour, based on experience

Shift Monday-Friday:

• 7am-3:30pm

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Program, set up, and operate robotic welding machines.
• Fulfill daily production requirements assigned by work orders or the production manager.
• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to understand welding requirements.
• Adjust welding parameters and programs as needed.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of robotic welding equipment.
• Inspect finished welds to ensure quality and compliance with specifications.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to optimize welding processes.
• Conduct regular assessments of the robot throughout the day.
• Report production orders on a daily basis.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

 SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Welding experience is a plus.
• Must be able to read a tape measure.
• Must have basic computer skills.
• Blueprint experience is a plus.
• Must be able to stand for extend periods of time.
• Forklift experience.
• Adapt to hot/cold environment, humidity, dust, and noise.

 ADDITIONAL NOTES

• Safety Glasses – Company provided - Required while in the shop.
• Industrial work shoes or boots required while in the shop.
• Proper PPE must be worn for the job – Company provided.
• Hearing protection – Company provided/Recommended.
• Must wear long pants.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
