Location: 4347 Lebanon Pike, Hermitage, TN 37076
Compensation: $70,720.00-$81,120.00 (full time)
Schedule: Saturdays and Sundays (Can also work Fridays or Mondays to make a full-time schedule)
Shifts: 7am-7pm
Position Overview: McKendree Village, an EEO employer, is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse Weekend Supervisor to join our team. Located in beautiful Hermitage, Tennessee, McKendree is recognized for providing premier quality care for residents and patients who rely on us for life enrichment and quality care. The selected candidate may also participate in the Director of Nursing (DON) in training program. We believe in supporting career advancement for our clinical leaders!
Responsibilities: As an RN Weekend Supervisor, your primary responsibilities will include leading and supervising the day-to-day nursing activities of the facility. Your role is crucial in ensuring the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times. Key day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Overseeing and coordinating nursing staff on weekends (Saturdays and Sundays) during the 7am-7pm shifts.
- Leading, mentoring, and developing the nursing team assigned to their individual units.
- Playing a vital role in the DON in-training (DONIT) program.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive quality and efficient patient care.
- Participating in the selection of team members and contributing to company policy development.
- Serving as a charge agent, challenging the status quo, and demanding clinical excellence.
Qualifications: To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:
- Registered Nurse with a valid license in the State of Tennessee.
- Long-term care and supervisory experience are required.
- BLS CPR Certification.
