Location: Orange, NJ
A Skilled Nursing Facility in Orange, NJ is seeking an experienced RN Unit Manager to oversee clinical operations on a designated unit. This is a full-time, permanent leadership role requiring prior experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility.
The RN Unit Manager will supervise nursing staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain high standards of resident care.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily clinical operations on assigned unit
- Supervise and support RNs, LPNs, and CNAs
- Ensure compliance with New Jersey DOH and CMS regulations
- Monitor documentation, care plans, and clinical standards
- Address changes in resident condition and ensure appropriate interventions
- Support infection control, quality measures, and survey readiness
- Participate in interdisciplinary care plan meetings
- Collaborate with DON and ADON on staffing and clinical performance
Required Qualifications
- Active New Jersey RN license required
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility required
- Prior experience as a Unit Manager or RN Supervisor in a SNF preferred
- Strong knowledge of long-term care regulations and clinical documentation
- Demonstrated ability to manage staff and clinical workflow
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
