About the Role:

Seeking a proactive Quality/Risk Manager to lead the efforts in ensuring the highest levels of safety, quality, and compliance in the nursing home. This role is crucial in managing and improving risk management strategies and fostering a culture of quality care.

As a facility leader, you will:

• Guide and support adherence to quality and safety protocols.
• Develop and coordinate risk management programs.
• Drive initiatives that enhance the overall safety and well-being of residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the Risk and Quality Management Programs to ensure regulatory compliance and high safety standards.
• Conduct incident and accident investigations, provide timely reports, and implement corrective measures.
• Serve as a key facility leader, participating in management discussions and decision-making.
• Collaborate with teams to review and improve programs (e.g., grievances, resident/family councils).
• Facilitate Risk and Quality Committees, ensuring alignment with best practices.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned by the Nursing Home Administrator.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in risk and quality management within long-term care (LTC).
• Background in nursing, therapy, administration, or health information management within an LTC setting is preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Work Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, typically from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
• Occasional weekends, evenings, and holidays may be required for investigations or urgent matters.
