Hospitality Team

ROLE DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking friendly, enthusiastic, and organized Hospitality Workers to join our team! This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who thrive in fast-paced event environments and have a passion for providing outstanding customer service in a unique equestrian setting. As part of our Hospitality Team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for guests, officials, and VIPs attending our events. We are offering multiple positions within the team, each with a distinct focus:

• VIP Lounge: Deliver a premium hospitality experience by welcoming and serving high-profile guests, sponsors, and riders in an exclusive setting. Duties include setting up and maintaining the lounge, providing food and beverage service, and ensuring that VIP guests feel comfortable and well cared for throughout their visit.

• Coffee Hut: Operate a busy coffee station, preparing and serving high-quality coffee, tea, and light refreshments. This role involves handling transactions, managing stock levels, keeping the area clean and presentable, and engaging with customers in a friendly and efficient manner. Prior barista experience is a plus but not essential.

• Officials Club Tent: Ensure that event officials, judges, and staff have access to meals, snacks, and beverages throughout the event. Responsibilities include setting up and maintaining the food service area, coordinating meal times, and making sure officials are well-fed and hydrated to perform their roles effectively.

• West Coast Classic – June 24 to 29
• Western Family – June 30 to July 6
• Summer Fort Welcome – Aug 5 to 10
• Summer Fort Classic – Aug 11 to 17
• Harvest Celebration – Sept 9 to 14
• BCHJA Fall Finale – Sept 16 to 21

COMPENSATION:

·      Part time, seasonal position for the tournament dates listed above

·      $20/hr
