Cash Posting Assistant
The Posting Assistant supports the Cash Applications Department by processing payments, maintaining posting logs, assisting with daily departmental tasks, and supporting month-end close processes. This entry-level role provides backup support for Lockbox functions, helps with mail and deposit tasks, and handles confidential banking and client information.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Process credit card payments, MRANs, and maintain the Missing EOB Log.
• Provide backup support for Lockbox operations as needed.
• Assist with mail sorting, deposit log preparation, and bank deposits.
• Support month-end close processes.
• Handle confidential banking and client information appropriately.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of one (1) of entry-level experience in clerical work or healthcare preferred.
• Prior experience handling payments, posting, or similar office/accounting tasks is required.
WORKING CONDITIONS
• The role requires sitting or standing for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks such as data entry and document handling.
• Occasional lifting of mail or other items up to 30 pounds may be required.
• The role requires the use of standard office equipment, including printers and scanners.
