Lockbox Clerk
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS
The Lockbox Clerk is responsible for processing all incoming lockboxes.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Sort and process incoming lockboxes
• Organize daily lockboxes and batches by date; scan checks
• Ensure each batch balances
• Generate and maintain lockbox reports
• Other job-related duties as assigned
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• High School Diploma or GED required
• One year of lockbox, payment posting, or bank teller experience required
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally
• Must be detail oriented and highly organized
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task
• Type a minimum of 40 wpm/Data entry
• Professional phone skills
• Ability to work overtime as needed
WORKING CONDITIONS
Long periods of sitting at workstation working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs.
