Social Media & Marketing Intern/Assistant

We are seeking a creative, motivated, and detail-oriented individual to join our marketing team and contribute to the continued growth of our brand.

We’re currently hiring for an intern, part-time or full-time role in our French Quarter showroom.

Position Overview:

We’re looking for a Social Media & Marketing Intern and/or Entry-Level Associate to assist our Senior Marketing Manager in branding, content creation & strategy, and digital engagement. This role offers a hands-on opportunity to gain real-world experience in social media strategy, content creation, and marketing campaigns in a heritage design company.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in managing and scheduling content across Bevolo's social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, Houzz, LinkedIn, YouTube, Newsletters, etc.)
• Support the creation of marketing materials including email campaigns, blogs and digital assets
• Help maintain content calendars and contribute fresh ideas for brand storytelling 
• Monitor social media channels for engagement opportunities and analytics reporting
• Assist in photo and video shoots for product and lifestyle content
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to support strategic planning
• Support general marketing efforts including events, PR, and brand partnerships

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Interior Design, Architecture or a related field
• Passion for design, architecture, luxury lifestyle, or heritage brands
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Familiarity with social media platforms and basic analytics
• Creative mindset with attention to detail and a good eye for aesthetics
• Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools is a plus
• Photography, videography, website development or copywriting skills are a bonus

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

          The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand up and meet/greet customers, talk to create open line of communication; listen to customer’s needs; walk with customers and/or be physically available every 2-5 minutes depending on interest; touch; type and reach with hands and arms. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift lanterns and products, up to 25 pounds, walk between retail locations and travel up/downstairs.

Starting salary $18+ per hour based on experience.
