Retail Sales Associate

Bevolo is a 77-year-old stable, yet growing business that offers long-term career paths while working in a creative and unique environment. 

Currently, we are looking for a retail sales associate at our Royal Street location in the heart of the French Quarter. 

The role would require greeting walk-in customers, retail sales of copper lanterns, furniture, antiques, and accessories, as well as being a support to Lighting Designers in the lighting selection process.  Enthusiastic and dynamic employees who apply themselves have the potential for promotion in our ever growing company.  We are looking for someone who is willing to work Full Time. Our stores are open Monday through Saturday, but typical work week is 5 days with flexible scheduling. 

Physical Demands:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand up and meet/greet customers, talk to create open line of communication; listen to customer's needs; walk with customers and/or be physically available every 2-5 minutes depending on interest; touch; type and reach with hands and arms. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift lanterns and products, up to 25 pounds, walk between retail locations and travel up/downstairs.

Starting salary $15+ per hour based on experience.
