Retail / Deli

We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Retail and Deli Associate. This role combines retail responsibilities with deli counter service, including food prep, stocking, and providing exceptional service to customers.

• Greet customers, answer questions, and provide assistance with purchases

• Operate the cash register, and handle transactions 

• Restock shelves, rotate products, and ensure product displays are clean and organized

• Maintain knowledge of store promotions and products

• Follow all store policies and procedures regarding safety and operations

• Prepare, slice, weigh, and package deli meats, cheeses, salads, and other items

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the deli area

• Monitor product freshness and quality; remove outdated items

• Operate deli equipment safely (slicers, scales, Vac Pac machine etc.)

• Take special orders and suggest items based on customer preferences

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Previous retail or food service experience is a plus

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
