Position: Restaurant Cook
Reports To: General Manager
You bring the dishes that the Brand has created to life. The chef relies on you to
"get it right" and you take pride in making it happen. The bustle and sometimes

Requirements:
• 1+ years of food server experience
• Food handlers permit.
• Familiarity with common restaurant equipment such as cash register and point of sales system.
• Highly organized and able to create an organized easy to follow system.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and duties simultaneously.
• Ability to work in fast paced environment.
• Independently motivated, with the ability to take on tasks and duties without immediate direction.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Willing to work weekends and holidays based on business needs.
• Understand and follow all food and waste procedures.
• Understand and follow all safety procedures.
• Understand and follow all food safety guidelines.
• Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience.
• Maintain cleanliness of cooking areas.
• Maintain stock of food supplies
• Provide support to Servers.
• At the beginning of each meal period, checks use record to determine if estimates match actual production. Record any other use adjustments necessary, including leftovers at the end of each meal period.
• Carefully and safely prepare food according to chef direction and as ordered by the server, taking care to portion correctly and present appealingly.
• Ensure food safety by dating and rotating food containers, safely storing perishables, and maintaining a sanitary work environment.
• Ensures the production of consistently high-quality food.
Summary of Position
• Maintains and evaluates existing concepts and develops creative new food concepts which ensure the highest quality food and profitability.
• Closely supervises production to avoid potential waste of food and labor, loss of quality, etc.
• Conducts daily inventory of all fresh foods.
• Issues recipe cards and uses records for individual kitchen workstations to verify inventories and production estimates for each station attendant.
• Prepares written estimates of all food production needs.
• Schedules basic food production needs by area, so that food and labor utilization is coordinated to the greatest extent possible.
• Supervises preparation of orders to purchase food.
• Completed other tasks and errands assigned by supervisor.
